The dogs were marking everywhere, didn’t know where to start :11: We didn’t have enough nets either, there were 100’s of holes  it was crying out for longnets

You got my mouth watering with the woodland shots, it really is the BEST sport to ferret rabbits in woods, if there's anything better I've yet to find it!!!!!!! not everyone's cup of tea i suppose, but I love it :);) .............there must be some canopy cover there keeps, as the undergrowth is very sparse!........Nice, i can't wait for the winter to really hit home so i can get in the woods, at the moment round here i can't even SEE any holes in them, the cover is soooooooooooooooooo thick!! :11:

Good fun for the dog in there. :D:clapper:

You're right DC woodland ferreting is my favourite, you can hear the bunnies thumping around underneath you. Yes there was a good canopy, when we were out last week in the woods it was pouring down & we didn't get wet :D The only downside to the spot we found yesterday was the moat like bog you had to cross to get there  you have to be good at longjump :11: which was fun :D

The dogs had a great time, was a bit hairy at times when they were running through the woods though  we just need a couple of long nets now :)

Yes shes a plummer Hywell & she loves rabbiting. I can't fault them as bushing dogs. I've have had JR's all my life (still have one) and I rate plummers way above them. They use their noses well and are excellent dogs at finding game. All my dogs bush alongside lurchers, but the plummers really do excel at it.

The one in the pics is a good all round dog, she even goes on a beating line & my sons taught her to check his traps for him, the lazy bugger :11:
