This rifle has had every thing done to it

new piston seal new spring new spring guides new breach seal

stock refurbished

just wish the blueing had taken better than it did

it was more gray than black

it shoots nice to

it would make a cracking starter rifle for a young lad to get into our sport

and at £130 its cheep to

nice Xmas present for some one ,

if i did not have to pay for this new impact id of had this back

But I dont understand what went "wrong" with the blueing.

Ive never seen it turning gray. But the gray can be given a swing the other way as a selling point: that gray is soooooo exclusive that its worth extra money

you will see in the pics below what hoppes gun blue is like on the Diana rifle i did

it has a deep blue to it much like a pro sport .

and a pic of the piston before i polished it .

iv just got to much going on at the moment what with a new fx impact coming

a new set of Falcon ffp scopes coming

and thinking of a new nv as well

or i would of got this back

Im impressed by the result you got on that 48-54 diana. From the pics on my telephone I cannot tell its been coldblued. Looks rather deep finish. Dont know how it looks real-life though.

Ive done some parts with casey cold blue...... But that doesnt come close to your results.

Guess Ive got to get my hands on that Hoppes too!

For a beech stock..... It has quite nice grain and patterns.

Its a shame that we have to treat the metal after we polished the action and barrel to the bone. That stainless steel look isnt bad at all.

Its good stuff Jozef

but hard to get now

for some reason the diana was a rifle that Si Brown got and sent to me

to refurbish it then it was taken by si and given to Davyt63 to be added to the prizes

for help for heroes at one of the meets

they were fighting over it lol
