Rabbit tails and rabbits foot

Hi,

A mate of mine is asking me for rabbit tails and feet.

No idea on how to preserve them for him

Can anyone shed some light on this please

pull the tail clean off the body and tie some wax cotton  thread  to it ,,its the thread the shoe makers use ,,nothing more to be done ..the foot ..ive no idea how thats sorted

i cut tail off , bone and all . cut the foot off. put the two in methalated spirit for 4/5 days and pulled out and dried. both are still fine. the foot i tied to fishing line and gave it to a [BANNED TEXT] who just passed his test and he hung it on his rear view mirror. still there years later.

Same here i just cut the tail off and give it to whoever asked me for it , its usually boys that grow a few tomatoes and want them to pollinate the flowers

they good for tomatoes then?

They tie one to a cane and put it in and out every flower to increase the pollination rate apparently  , i thought bees and insects did that for them

theres no need to cut the tail...next time just grasp and pull and the tail comes out with the string attached ,lasts forever ..try it  and see

Thanks fellas, 

Ive got the tails ( bone and all) soaking in some meths as we speak. Going to leave them for a week, rinse, shampoo and condition then let them dry.

 Will let you know how they turn out.

I’m going to try rabbits feet next and see how that goes. 

Interesting fact about tomatoes, never heard that one before
