Does she pick up rabbits easy enough? Mine was the same height and was useless as a bunny dog locally .

she's 16months old. this will be her first proper season ferreting. she's marking & caught a few in daylight.

In her first season she would run them all over but sometimes she would not make a strike in her second season she was like a different dog she has no trouble picking them up now I think some dogs just take a bit longer to get the conference to know when to pick them up
