Galgos vs our stock

How do you think our bred coursing dogs would do over there ? The ground looks very dry and hard the hares seem to be flying ?

I reckon the top coursing dogs over here would do what they do best, and stop them single handed, hares are fast on dry land, and it could be tough on the run up for a dog, but once the boxing, and tactical stuff starts the dogs would get some control, some decent looking hares over there though bet there's a few that need a few minutes of hard running to take the sting out of them

how do you think galgos do over here on our hares  and our ground ?  , they look like they have more wind than our greyhounds , but dont think they have the speed  of our greyhounds, but i could be wrong .?  they prob got better feet on them, than our dogs, but suppose  we got good  well bred coursing dogs here that got, speed,stamina, and good feet , that why cousing dogs were made and lurchers in the 1st place , get good 1/4 collie or pit, or  gsd, x back to 3/4 grey  you get not bad wind /pace and good feet , might be bit similar  to a galgo  regards there  ability's .

There's a galgo that I see now and then that was brought over from a Spanish dog rescue/ sanctuary got big feet, and a strong look about him

I reckon the galgos would do better over here than what the British dogs would do over there.

My friend has a Galgos living next door to him in Spain. Now I don't know if its from direct coursing or racing stock, but probably is. It has good feet, thickish skin and is much heavier boned than our Greyhounds. Originally I thought it was some kinda Lurcher but was told it was a Galgo. It didn't look like a speed machine, but it looked better than our Greyhounds for work.

Some big slips in Spain n Portugal are given for proper coursing  not sure what sort of kick up running is called  ?

Pure salukis were ran against the galagos in there country and beat them on every course bar one, our coursing bred dogs are far better than pure Salukis so I’d say our stock would be in a different league to the galagos

Out of slips with law walked up  or just the old off ya boot ?
