My small lurcher bitch is enough, very protective, let’s me know if anyone’s about love to see, what she’d do if someone come in the yard uninvited, any takers???

ha mine is the same. A load of builders turned up one morning to do the roof. Not one fancied stepping through the gate until the mrs told the dog they were ok. He won't go back wards either and if you did piss him off I doubt he would be letting go in a hurry. Not some thing I like really but the wife feels safe enough with him around

Feck feeding another dog , just put up a couple of Isis flags .. got the police watching my house 24/7 now ?

I married a Northern lass good with kids bit agressive around house & can cook. No one visits anymore. Atb

If you want a yard dog and something to guard your kennels i personally dont think you can beat a well bred bandog type.Naturally territorial, generally not dog aggressive if properly socialised, physic

didnt know  that, what dogs are they using now then / is it still gsds, but from differnt lines , as they wanted to keep the gsd size and strength  , and not  have smaller dogs. i know a ex Raf  dog handler , who help pick pups out for the police to use , he went for temp/ size  that what he told me, confident  bold pups  .

Seen the police in Wolverhampton and stoke using rottweilers

Not sure mate but i know that Steve likes to put big drivey working line males on what he calls pet/show females that have been fully health/temperament tested to get pups that can adapt to any lifestyle. He showed me a portrait of a dog in his house of one of his dogs from the early 80s that he said was his perfect idea of what a shepherd should be.He said it wasnt working line or European line etc it was just a shepherd. He said the dog worked during the Brixton riots, football riots, could be walked through a busy market or go into a primary school and be petted by kids and then go home at night and be a family pet.Thats what he said a sheperd should be and what he strives to produce as he said a lot of the Eastern European bloodline Shepherds and malis etc arnt as adaptable and are more suited to the military or serious competetive sporting rolls where they are getting constant stimulation and not really having to adapt to general day to day life or being around the public.

Pups my mate has.Gsd x Mali.Parents are excellent guard dogs.Wouldn’t fancy your chances going in his yard

Do you know if you lose anything by crossing the shepherd breeds,I've noticed some other alike breeds when crossed lose some intensity about them.It might be I'm comparing them to their pure parents when the crosses are their own type.

A real nice Bandog male that ive trained with quite regularly.Very rare to see such good structure and movement in such a powerful dog.Youd definately think twice about going in anywhere that this boy was looking after.

I passed young chap walking one today luckily we were in the car as my dog is a noob. Also passed a puppy in the summer and it ran straight up and tried to have a go and I had to boot it away

That's right down south the bomb proof temp in all situations of the the pet family type shepherds calms them down more manageable types are begotten down this route ,some a the Easter types like some malls are just to much , but the perfect da greys and coursing types lol fa a good jukel they having that calming influence on the xs.i toyed with reintroduction of the shepherd in to the alsation grey I own she has a temp t die for make great companion guarding family protecters  los to much influence I believe on the taking man down abilities being worked on in breeding in European types could be difficult to find the good switch of type amongst them ,I believe one can breed there own from them with steadier healthier types of the same breed the American shepherd very easy going good sound temp softer ,the Eastern blood in our xs breeds the introduction of two greyhounds worked a treat they can used either ways family dogs or workers versatility that needed in a family environment with a rock steady temp around little kiddies etc.protecters .atb bill

I never new what the switch was but I know now , this shepherd bitch of mine has a very good one I can walk her to school with my young daughter with all kids petting her , and she will lay on front grass watching my daughter play on her bike , and let my daughter dress her up in clothes and lead her around like a pony, but the moment she screams , or someone strange gets to close to her or my wife she’s there instantly a completely different dog , but as soon as you tell her to lay down she does, am very pleased with her she’s just yard dog breed with some European lines way back in her pedigree

Any vids of them dogs working?

No mate.Im not really one for recording stuff as i dont like having stuff on my phone of them doing bite work or anything that could be used against me if a situation went wrong one day.Quite a few of the lads i know are constantly sticking stuff on fb which i keep telling them could come back and bite them on the arse.I dont think its going to be long before there will be a big crackdown on people doing bitework/protection taining.Nobody in my village even knows what my big dog is or what shes capable of they just think shes a big old dopey mutt that bounds about a plays with their little dogs and throws herself on her back to have her belly rubbed by their kids.

Oh aye I agree mate, even tho it legal it won’t be long before some muppet wants it banned, big powerful dogs them tho I’d love to see em in action, wouldn’t wanna get too close tho?  you ever been in sleeve duty for a thing like that dog? ?

To be fair mate most of the true bandogs that ive been around and trained with are quite safe to be around and are very stable headed. Its them malis and herders i dont trust as them fuckers dont care who the bite they just seem hard wired from birth to bite anything that moves quickly.Ive worn a sleeve a few times as a favour for mates but i dont really enjoy doing it as ive seen a few accidents happen with proffesional decoys. When youve felt the power of them big dogs throught a hard sleeve it make you realise that if one of them got you for real there is no way you are doing anything about it.Basically you're f****d.
