Aussie cattle dogs are another underestimated guard breed, their size limits them, but are a breed that loves to guard and bite and there's no sweet talking them.

Had one growing up my first dog would guard me without question he was small but had a big heart no fear

Feck feeding another dog , just put up a couple of Isis flags .. got the police watching my house 24/7 now ?

I married a Northern lass good with kids bit agressive around house & can cook. No one visits anymore. Atb

If you want a yard dog and something to guard your kennels i personally dont think you can beat a well bred bandog type.Naturally territorial, generally not dog aggressive if properly socialised, physic

If I had a dog for a companion/guard it would be a heeler.Seen a redbitch whoop my old man when I was around 5..Seen a bitch work hogs when she was old. When my father and his partner trained hunting mules to jump they would nail a board between two trees put a blanket over it.One man on other side of board pulling lead another man sneaks in behind mule and hits him on the asswith a board.Once a mule knows he can jump he will do it again. My fathers partner had a big mule and tied his hand to the lead.My father warned him but right as mule got in front of the board he hollered STEWIE!! which in redneck means sicem.7 heelers ran from under his house and attacked the mule.My dad's partner got drug down a dirt road getting monkey stomped by a pack of heelers and a pissed off mule.

Saturday afternoons in Dixie when I was a kid.

That's a cattle dog,my mate grew up with three red heelers,he knew when he was going to get a flogging when his mum told him to lock up the cattle dogs otherwise mum would have been mauled.

Most old farmers here drive flatbed pickup with a heeler hanging off the side. Not as common as it used to be.No trucks got stole back then lol.

They are gritty dogs.Ive seen them kicked and stomped by half wild cows.I always thought they could produce a good lurcher but never tried.I did see a good looking one on this forum though.

Still like that here, nearly every tradie has a cattle dog to guard the tools on the ute, even in Sydney.I doubt the working ability on cattle with these city dogs but that isn't what their doing.

Nice that, and I reckon they make great guard dogs if any pups from the mating, how he actually bred., is he neo x pit,   as that was the original bandog. Not keen on cut ears me self. I know they like them in Italy, but prefer the natural ear me self, same as docked tail not  keen.

That blue bitch looks a cracker

She is mate.Shes out of the old brindle dog that I put up further back in this thread to the same lads pure Neo bitch that was also a right handful.Being out of a Neo shes always shown more mastiff traits being very defensive and territorial as opposed to being prey driven.Shes starting to show her age now thats why my pal decided to use the young dog pictured on her whilst shes still fit enough to produce a strong litter. The dog is a super well bred imported animal and being from a multi generational line of bandogs should put a bit more drive into them.

At a guess 26/27" and 90 lb/100lb and yes very natural.

I used to follow a lad from off instergram from Birmingham who was breeding some nice looking animals he had a couple with docked tail and clipped ears wich personally I liked , I nearly got one but I didn’t as I kinda figured that if someone wanted to steal something they would just poison the dog so never botherd , in a way I was glad I didn’t get one off him  as after a while I met another lad who was mates with him and he said he had a great litter on the floor for £700 a pup out of a 12 month old apbt and a 2 year old bandog and the state of the kennels and yard was reminiscent of war torn Libya
