Feck feeding another dog , just put up a couple of Isis flags .. got the police watching my house 24/7 now ?

I married a Northern lass good with kids bit agressive around house & can cook. No one visits anymore. Atb

If you want a yard dog and something to guard your kennels i personally dont think you can beat a well bred bandog type.Naturally territorial, generally not dog aggressive if properly socialised, physic

Atrue catchdog in my opinion takes one bite on the ear as hard as he can.

My mrs used to run a chiller here in Oz and this is essential if you are bringing in pigs for sale.Any damage to legs or anywhere really and the pigs were rejected. These boars were going to the German game meat market mostly and the hunters were getting $1.50 a kg which was a lot 30 years ago. That's why you only want two dogs holding and most pigs only had two holes in each ear from the dog's canines.

I would never discount the American bulldogs guarding ability seen a few work the sleeve pretty impressive

I've only had the one Am Bulldog and it was a great guard, protection dog with real contempt for strangers but you couldn't call it game at all.I believe gameness in dogs comes from terrier blood as the whippets I've had showed a gameness beyond any other pure big sighthound I've seen.

Please take a few minutes to tell us all about the curs, ( not the shitebags) I mean the dogs yous call curs like black mouth an them. Iv always wanted one here as a knock about all round dog to take to work on farm an always ne with me out an about hunting, maybe one day when I too old for lurcher ??

Most curs are used for squirrel hunting and will quit when hit by a hog.the best curs I seen were usually called blackmouth curs.ive seen these take some punishment.I seen one or two good kemmer curs.catahoulas are weird.plotthounds are technically a cur.outside of apbt blood they are the toughest. They are kept very secretive in the smoky mtns. The ones on the internet are useless. The men in those mountains consider me an outsider as I live 2 hours away lol.I have watched some plotthounds get put back together like a puzzle by a redneck with a staple gun. When the dog whimpered the owner said he was to soft lol.Them men are hard on them but good luck getting one.I would recommend blackmouth cur for what your looking for.The cur I had disemboweled was a blackmouth.Alan Scott's buddy bought him from me because he was harder than their dogo catchdogs.

I also believe gameness in dogs come from terrier blood but don't bring that up around the founders of American bulldog ?they get upset.

I've seen pics of these,do you know if they have pit blood as the ones I've seen were brindle,I don't think this is a hound colour but could be wrong.I've aways been led to believe brindle is a sign of molosser heritage.

All sorts went into them despite the stories them good ol boys will tell you about their great great grand pappy bringing them over from England in the early days

Plott history is very secretive. Its like joining a secret society.Your a plottman or not.I have talked to a few who were close to plott family and there's no proof of bulldog blood Alot of curs and Feist squirrel dogs will be brindle and some of them are scared of a squirrel lol.In the pure lines of plott they will throw a buckskin every now and then. Plotts don't live to be old generally.Plottmen start the season with a dozen dogs.Sometimes they won't have but one by end of season but nothing gets away bear or hog.3 good bred plotts will stretch a medium sized black bear. But they will die for their efforts.Up until 10 years ago they had live bear baying competition in the Carolinas for plotts.Interesting breed to say the least.

Catahoulas are a one person dog. They will hunt for you but when it comes to strangers they either run or bite.Them Cajuns must have used them dogs for live gator bait as their nerves are shot.
