Not sure mate.Yeah his mrs had a couple that were right horrible c**ts as well.I remember her bringing one of them training one day and it just wanted to do everyone on the field.Scott also told me that she'd let slip that she'd given the male one a clump one day and it had pinned her against the wall and growled at her.Funny enough she dont keep presa's either now.

I remember when she put Ajax over the presa bitch think Scott sent a pup over to the Jamaican police force be interested to see how it got on.

cracker that, and as you say, with that power and guts it stop any man, what the old  saying  a bulldog , can be 1000 times more friendly than any dog, and be a 1000s time more dangerous than any dog , which is true .  when i picked up my bulldog bitch pup , the mother was inside the house, she was about 20 in and about  54 lb   she was big bitch, she had that look in her that she was happy if her owner was, but if not she wreak you easy, the sire was the same in my mind , i know most bulldogs dont guard , but ive always thought that if there owner was getting hurt , i really think they step up to the mark, and not a dog to mess with. our dogs thats staffs old type leggy more like apbt of to day, ours were soft with people didnt guard , but i think they protect you if you were getting really hurt. yet  of all the bull terriers , the ebt the most sharp with people , staffs and , pits have better temps  how tall was that dog above what was it chain weight .?

I follow a few threads on here so firstly I hope your lad in family is better than he was,and wish him a full recovery.Stressfull times mate to say the least.I have been asked about his chain weight before and can’t remember to be honest,I think he was 45-48,height,I’d say between 18 and 20 he certainly never strikes you as being tall,see all sorts over the years even had what was touted as Irish staff back in the day myself,yep that was me lol but he is awesome and somehow subtle about it,can’t keep my eyes off him when he’s about!Like the smoothest rock to touch and like I say he’s not a youngster,so has probably lost a little form.Atb to your family J

thanks  very much mate, yeh stressful  time at moment  , hope he pulls throught , hate to big fella like him   as ill as he is , yeh  your right mate about a well bred bulldog, ok they might not be as intimidating  as  say boerbol , presa ,  rottie  or  big gsd  , but even at 45 lb a bulldog would stop any man , its there drive in them, and high pain threshold  , hit these or boot them , they wont back off, some of the big guard breeds will. show no fear to them , they may hold back, well bred bulldog wont, they why there more dangerous as guard dog , but as we said on the post, alot dont guard , good job in some ways really, all i ever wanted from my bull breeds was to bark if anybody was about, if any trouble  etc, i deal with it, ive got a ( rounders bat) by my bed ,  a crack of that fecker would blood hurt deff lol

I think with any of these dogs you have to be sensitive to the dogs behaviour at any present time,just subtle changes in their behaviour and focus means you don't let granny pat them today.They are truly like a wild predator such as a lion or bear in a way and just as lethal.Sometimes the quest for the ultimate guard dog goes overboard.If you need lions as protection you really should think about changing your lifestyle.

This is the sign at the start of my buddies property.He has kept Dutch shepherds ,malinoise Caucasian mtn dogs now a Presa.The only dog of his that bit me even with him trying to stop it was a working stock German Shepherd she was supposedly from the East Germany communist regime bloodlines but who knows.I have a scar from that bitch.I don't trust any dog.If they have a mouth and teeth they can bite you.

Its Just a phrase that the fella who first switched me onto the bandogs uses.Its just a bandog bred by crossing the traditional mastiff breeds (Neo'English mastiff'bull mastiff etc)and bull terrier to produce a more functional,healthier mastiff with a bit more drive.Not just chucking multiple breeds together and hanging the name bandog on them rather than just calling them crosses or mutts.A bandog should have a calm and laid back attitude whilst still being fearless and protective over its property and family.All the things you should get from a good mastiff but in a healthier more functional package.It shouldnt be over aggressive and definitely shouldnt be permanently wanting to stick it on anyone who happens to come into range and it definitely shouldnt start pushing for rank dominance within its family group which is something ive seen and heard of a lot with them presa's

I would never have believed it myself until i seen it lol seen one do stuff at a young age alot of well bred mals and shepherds if they did do youd be over the moon. Not just for equipment either

Exactly mate.Thats a family guardian not something you have to keep locked in a cage or another room every time someone comes to your place
