28in  thats it , his knuckle plates  look near finished  , most dogs  mid-large dogs get the height at 9-10 month old , then another 14 month to fill out . and good  x     1/4  collie  plenty    enough.

I don't know ray them plates are far from flat could tickle 33 tts or more 

The stud dog was 30 inch and the brood were somewhere near 38 if my sources are correct

twenty eight he go those border xes hancocks go big ,seen a few twenty nine inch males he has fourteen fifteen mths for those plates close up height complete they allways creep abit more height from ten mths to finishing .he a big lad either ways .atb bill

Been studying these hancocks lines of late seem the border collie lines are the ones that throw good size in there hybrids ,the others ar a miss mash of the past studs getting there offspring Shelley and the vigour lost,they and maybey a bear die from the hector beardie dog were if choosing a welp from there were the ones to choose from  the vast dissiimilarities  in size vigour type in the others are not even     Worth             considering there no valid reason fa that kind of breeding to the working man of jukels ate bill
