Buy a chessie do you mean cheepskate retriever if that how you spell it, Iv seen two and I wouldn’t have one given like a fat useless lab on steroids. They carnt do anything a decent lab carnt. Thanks for everyone’s input.

Chessie's, they're really good at protecting your yard and working in icy water. Cold tolerance for labs and wirehairs is about the same.

Yeah I only stumbled on it by chance,same with the similar stabyhoun which is like the rare Dutch equivalant off a cur dog .

Try and get a gwp x lab, very versatile dogs. It would be more suited to the job you want it for i would think.
