leegreen 2,169
Catapult arrived yesterday. Gonna stick with the single band and use 10mm steel balls. They seem very fast with the single band supplied, I will chrono it when I get a chance. Just to add, it came with a double tube set and the small pouched seem quality on both. Shortstraw 476
Got mine yesterday. I gave it a little rub with some fine sandpaper where the seems are as they were a little rough on mine, didn't want the bands rubbing on them. Looking forward to getting out with it. Shortstraw 476
Right so I've only ever shot ott, but I thought I would look into trying ttf. Thing is it just doesn't seem right on this scout replica ( using the clips that is) ((can't comment on the original as I never tried ttf on it before I lost it)). Im using the supplied fixing clips which align spot on for ott......there's only one edge of the clip that is made to secure the band into the groove of the frame....like I said works spot on for ott, but the hole in the square clips is off set so when you turn the clip so it's fixing edge can be used for ttf it throws the bands off the centre, so they are not in line with the centre of the fork tips. Seems odd am I missing something? Anybody with a original scout also check. cheers shortstraw
Greyman 28,436
Can you get a photo up saves a 1000 words, I get your drift but seeing it may help with a solution, it's not something as simple as swapping the clips to the other fork when you go from ott to ttf is it ?? Shortstraw 476
It'll do the job, just seems odd been slightly off centre. Least of my problems when it comes to accuracy.

Just wondering do most of you get your ammo off eBay.....I'm using 9.5. cheers
Shortstraw 476
It's ok I'm been a bit thick the lip at the top stops it biting fully in the centre. Edited October 24, 2018 by Shortstraw
