Foxpack 2 7,851 Posted February 24, 2019 Author Report Share Posted February 24, 2019 (edited) Great day out with keepers again.first 3 spots produced nothing and the day was looking glum,but dogs hit a scent in big gorse patch and produced the first Charlie which was shot by old keeper . 2nd fox was also in a tight gorse patch on a very steep bank .he was shot at but dropped in.brian was entered and fox was bolted and dispatched.my young3st son was also rabbiting with lurcher on a big moor ,first pic is him waiting for a bolt young dog and bitch are mad keen .marking this fox to ground .pleae3d with them . Foxpack 2 7,851 Posted March 3, 2019 Author Report Share Posted March 3, 2019 Last day today up on the hills ,done some good spots ,lifted 1 out of massive wood ,little dogs done well .fox was cleanly shot ,Brian bolted ,dog n a vixen out of a big earth, both accounted for ,tried 3 more earths ,nothing home .Last spot of day was a biggish rock spot ,fox was just not for leaving it ,just nipping about inside .Was a great day to finish our season .and now the farmers are ready to lamb big time , 13 2 Quote Link to post
