Had couple hours on Aire this morning managed couple out from under trees on far bank

Seems they don't get the press they deserve these days, a great fish!

Below thwaites mill down to  Methley plenty of fish in that couple of mile stretch

Nice fish , love afew hours stalking chub along the river , must admit does look like a hybrid , still some nice sport  what bait where you using ?

Big worms I dug a peg out closer to car for old man so he no good at walking any distance worms I dug out were bait

Remember asking  on a FB group what people put in there cheese paste baits , feck me it would have been easier to join the free masons lol, mostly use worm myself freelining

Went down with lad tonight  quick hour few bites one small chub and couple perch lad lost a nice one that went under tree

Awsome. I love the river aire. It was always full of suprise's when I fished it a lot as a kid in your area.
