Sorting a photon

I once read a very good post on how to centralise the cross hairs on a photon. I have been using mine with shims and the cross hairs near the bottom of the screen and I've had enough..

If you wrote the post can you give me a link please as i cant find it and could do with it

He helped me with mine

basically i shim,d mine from the side not the bottom 

and use empty coke tins cut down to size as its the right thickness and works a treat

If it's that far out you might need to splash out on adjustable mounts as that amount of shimming will put pressure on the scope tube.

I had to on mine if I remember correctly they cost just shy of £80 !

I have been using it as is since you was up this way. I can get on with it but I want to fix it. 

Plus im too tight to buy the mounts and the fix costs nothing but you got to remove the front..

I've got some spartsmatch apt66 adjustable mounts for sale. Like new only 6 months old !! I'd take £50 for them.

I’ve only ever had to use one beer can shim with loads of different photon rifle combos... 

like walshie said don’t pack loads or you’ll wreck the tube!

theres a lad called pav on here who can tell you how to centre the screen if you pm him.. no expensive mounts required
