Not so windy tonight

Me and Sean (Viz) tonight

Sean had the bairns ultra single shot 22

scope was the hawk vantage 4x16x50

lamp was t38 red beam

me hw100 ks 177

scope was photon xt 4.6x42s nv

fitted with nv range finder

We got to the farm and set the scopes up in day light sean sorted his and off he went

now an old guy asked me for a hare and viz got to one before me lol

loads in the field but only took one we dont like to shoot them unless we are asked to

so first kill to him not long after he took a pigeon ,

I had to wait until the light started to fade but once again the nv came into its own

Not many rabbits about but ended up with 4 all had mixi

so we got rid .

This perm just seems to pick up and then this horrible disease hits

wiping most of them out .

Sean also got one rabbit but it was riddled with it to .

                 Not sure if it`s me and my mind but when mixy is about, i always feel that the rabbits i shoot are dripping with fleas ?

Not a bad night, apart from jimmy not putting a sling on the ultra ! Once I get my streamline sorted, I can see some better results coming

Been to work this morning on a job and walked straight up to a rabbit and picked up with mixey so put it out of its misery horrible to see

Nice going mate i was out yesterday walked threw a bit with dead rabbits laying them into a  nice group of rabbits with 2 black one in it ,  numbers could be patchy at best in some areas
