Still a bit on the warm side in these parts don't want to cook my ferrets, got some new land to go at this year nice and open fields as well.

Dog should be near fit in a couple more weeks of biking, always amazes me how quickly they condition up.

she's still fat from the summer mate and her rest with the torn gracillis muscle. . . But so far so good. 

Yes, its Venus mate..9 years old now. 

 

I was back out today and after netting up 2 warrens and using over 30 nets I'd had enough of the bloody things.

So I let the dogs do their thing and caught more than I had previously on the next 2 warrens without nets. . . even though I was in a thick woodland area. Less noise and more bolts.By the time you've snapped a load of twigs and thumped about putting the nets down the bunnies don't want to bolt. My method..sneak up, drop a hob in and let the dogs do the rest.

That's great mate. . . I really pleased that some of them have gone to genuine huntinglife members. I hope you have many years of fun with your offspring.

They definitely got that killer instinct hard wired already lol. Mine is exact same looking as that, I don't tend to name my ferrets but as soon as I got her I called her "the mask"  I'll keep you informed mate, thanks again

Yes Phil nice to have some good blood that has been looked after and grafted for generations. Ferrets can be taken for granted but there as much part of the team as anything else I believe
