Yep, each to they're own. But how can you tell if a pup is going to be a good worker when it's only 8 - 10 weeks old? Said before and I'll say it again, can't stand chocolate coloured dogs,  whatever the breed ...........

Nobodys mentioned picking out a worker at 8/10 weeks..... Thats madness imo, i was talking about dogs bred down from generation to generation of grafters its no garantee but id feel a whole lot better having a pup from such a litterif they bred right then colour is a personal preference, and should come second imo to working ability of the parents, grand parents etc. There will always be pups that stand out in litters, dont meen they gonna be the best

There’s a girl up the road from me has a bitch. First litter they were gone in the first day of advertising. She bred her again this year and advertised them 2 months ago and last I herd she still had one left. The arse has fell out of them now

And I know what you're saying, but you said a while back you''ve a kennel full of chocolate terriers. There'll be 10 times the amount of black terriers that are good workers, to chocolate ones, how you gonna know if you only pick by colour? And there are plenty of people that do, possibly one of the reasons that there's so much shit about these days
