spsurfer 891
Thank you Sirs!! Sometimes when you come across a nice piece of stag, it's looking better to adapt the ferrule to the stag than the other way round. Here in germany, a "Nicker" is referred to a small hunting knife from bavaria / austria. It's function was to sacrifice a wounded animal with a stab in the neck (Genick). Today this knives are carried in a small pouch in these typical leather pants (as I'm from Hamburg, you will NEVER EVER SEE ME wearing something like that ) but the bavarians do... and they have even a special law, that allows them to run around with this knife, as it forms part of their traditional garb. jok 3,266
That didn't answer my question. 2 Euros? Got to be a good deal. Lol. I totally agree with shaping the ferrule to the antler. What a result. Can't remember seeing another. Good work. Jok.
spsurfer 891
There was a german knifemaker "Wieland der Schmied" who made a similar one years ago, he is retired now.

jok 3,266
Agree with Welsh-Red. And. On the subject of lederhosen , I bought my first pair many years ago and they gave me great comfort when out hunting, shooting and rabbiting. Amazingly comfortable and the ladies found them irresistible. Probably got the lederhosen wrong but you get my drift. Never, however, had a knife secreted within.
