To keep the thread going, (don't know what happened?)  30+ years ago I used to go out with one of Ziggy's "mentors" (I hope he won't mind me saying that) and this fella had piles almost on his doorstep so he worked them and some of the bigger piles in the area. We all did! Young(ish) keen and fit, foxes were hard to come by, everyone in the area was at it ffs.

This lad preferred a leggy, light coloured rough coated, B/L type dog and he generally bolted them to the gun with very good numbers over the years he did lose one or two mind but we're talking over several years.

Had the makings of a good  thread.. Interesting how others work their dogs to achieve the same goal. Seems to me that what ziggy does is not for the faint hearted. Take my hat off too you fella

As some of you lads have already said, I was really enjoying this thread. I hardly ever venture into the terrier section on this site, but this was a cracking thread. Shame if it gets ruined by a couple of nerks

don't really want to go into it dytkos as I am sick of he said this an that bullshit .....  as for the lad your on about I did turn him away from the gun an put him towards a lurcher....top honist lad do anything for you enytime you ask... hes 65 shortly an still walks the moors with my old man 3 days a week
