.who'd be a football  manager ?   ...... here's the first. I wonder what the  end total will be.

It might still be August but Tuesday saw the first EFL manager sacked this season. A draw at Macclesfield in League Two was not enough to keep Cheltenham boss Gary Johnson in a job.

There will already be a few managers who are hoping not to join Johnson in looking for a new job......source.. BBC sport news

Why not stiff

hes served his apprentiship and done well on small budgets at Burnley.

Give good young British managers a crack of the whip imo instead of Tempremental foreigners ?

Although the idea is good I think he'd have a nightmare trying to sort out man utd . Also as comical as it sounds with the money they've spent already they need quite a few real quality players.  Will be difficult for dyche to attract them sadly

Because max it’s all very well and good doing alright at Burnley but how the f**k could the players take a manager Like him seriously prior to a champions league game.

He knows f**k all about managing a club the size of United , who probably still are the biggest team in the world .

It’s like a manager of spar being made ceo of Walmart , natural progression max , and after the moyes debacle , United will be Uber catious .

Yous boys can't see the woods for the trees and think United are better than they are and that they have some God given right to do well .

They don't ?

Why do you think that? Nobody has a god given right to do well.  But Utd fans obviously want to get back in the mix at the top of the table and when discussing the team talk about what it would take to get back there . Nothing wrong with that and don't think theirs any arrogance in wanting that or discussing it as a possibility
