Well lads, i`ve just given my spring rifles a match off, i`ve left the FWB Sport rifles out for now as they are not scoped up.

               All rifles were shot from cold, with no prior practice today.

All the rifles shoot far better than i do but for me, the only difference between these rifles is personal preference .

                 I`ve put a Puffer group in there to show that spring rifles are every bit as accurate if you do your bit.

well Mark if you took the puffer out of the equation

id say the

1st hw97,,,, just mind

2nd hw77

3rd the trex

but at the end of the day there three of the top rifles

and there not the best for nothing

as you have shown

What i was trying to put over to the lads Jimmy, is that if i pick up and shoot those rifles again tomorrow, there would surely be a slightly different result and the only difference between these top spring rifles is the person shooting them, " on the day"

Looking back at the pics Mark the hw100 is last the 97 and the 77 out shot it

just go,s to show that a good spring rifle in the right hands

can out shoot a pcp

My TX does almost exactly the same when shot from cold.

 

All barring 1 shot (and discounting the 100), I'd say the 97 fits you best

               Hell of a purchase from Simon, Pianoman, - i got on very, very well with this rifle but the Hawke Endurance, with the German L4 reticle is a deadly combination with the HW 97 in .177 cal only ( no mill dots mind ).
