Meece 1,958
First I had 2 bikes, both of them new out of the show room, Honda cd175 and then a Suzuki T250 R ( Hustler ) thing went downhill and the next was a mini pickup, after that is was a 1300 mk1 escort estate. I fitted bigger wheels and an engine out of a Mk 2 Cortina 1600 E. That thing did shift. I've still got the Suzuki out in the garage as original along with the original log book and the petrol ration coupon book from 73/4. If only I had bought up some of the British bikes and cars and a lot of stuff I would have a pile of scrap around me. Hindsite.

Meece 1,958
At one time I bought an Ital van for 200, the model after the marina. It was ex BT eñgineers van. Yellow. Although they didnt have a big reputation it did blooming well as a general tote van and it did me for about 7 years lugging everything from tools to dogs guns and beaters. At one time there were 7 of us in there going up to a shoot. 2 in front and 5 in the back + about 5 dogs of various types. I think that there were 2 labs, 1 Springer and a couple of Jack's. A bit of a squeeze and a bit stinky.

A35 was the car my Dad had when I was a kid pretty sure it had a bench seat and column change? I know the seats used to get hot in the summer and you knew about it if you had shorts on My first car was a Fiat 128 3p I thought it was the dogs bollocks but I lost it to corrosion

Would like any of them back now. Got a Mondeo ST220 estate at the moment if I can keep hold of that for 10 or so years reckon that will be worth a few quid more than it is now

THE STIFFMEISTER 16,180
I had a swathe of cars in my first three years Sun red fiesta popular plus 1.2 on an f plate was my first , blew it up on the m74 one Saturday afternoon and that was that straight into a white fiesta xr2 , biscuit Tin shape , ragged that like a go cart until I sold it for 1500 concurrently owned an escort 75 van , white with alloys and rear roof rack for lamping off the back door. Did more miles in second and third with a lad stood on the back than i did regular driving when a car rear ended it I got a Renault Laguna estate that was a disaster from start to finish. I write it off accidentally when I popped in for a tin of pop at the shop with the keys in and the terrier stood on the central locking button . Smashed a rear window to get in and it was going to cost more than the car to get fitted . if I could change one thing , it would be how I drove as a young un.
