PJWmids 35
What's the best size fox trap to use, I've been looking at 48 inch and x large 61 inch long cage traps? Do you use the 48inch with success? Quote Link to post
walshie 2,804
Bigger the better IMO. Mine are 5ft. Quote Link to post
Rabid 1,936
As per walshie, I've got 4ft and 6 ft traps, the bigger ones seem to catch more often but that could be location, the 4ft just seem small to me, but I know folk who catch with smaller. 1 Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
I have used a lot over the years from the cheapest/smallest ebay offering to large and expensive. I really haven't noticed any particular trend reference the traps effectiveness, more like sighting and baits. Just the same the cheap ones tend to get destroyed pretty quick by the fox, so cheap certainly doesn't mean a cash saving over better! Quote Link to post
