mark williams 7,558
Took the old girl out tonight . It was a deluge of a rain shower tonight so i set up a small blind inside an old poly tunnel to try and get a session in. Two presentations tonight and the old girl took both with ease. Her zero. Here`s the small blind, the dead tree is the sitty tree. It was lased to 39 yds from the blind, so perfect zero range. The wood pigeon was taken with a heart, lung shot side on and was an instant dispatch. The Jay offered me just a head/ neck shot at 39 yds, the old girl took it with ease. Blisteringly accurate, full length classic 77. in .177 cal. atb Mark. 4 Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,558
Hmmmmm I wonder Jimmy ? I have shot guns mate and they would be long gone before any of my air rifles. As you know, i crave the challenge involved in being an air rifle hunter far more than i do being a shotgun hunter. No disrespect to any form of shooting, it`s just my preference to take air gun hunting as far as i can, usually with a spring rifle Training/ practice again tonight, on my 38 yd garden range,-------- " strictly air rifle`s mind " Good luck with it all Jimmy.
