Underdog 2,337
With some wheat coming off and reports of chicken trouble I knew I was in for a busy night. Seen about eight but just managed three. 88,10 and 89 paces. The first came to me mouse squeaking. After crossing a fence and getting all hooked up in the wire, I had just got myself free when a fox, another vixen cub come walking out of sheep straight to me! That is on ground I have total freedom on and any fox gone from there means more game for me in winter. At the chicken units and after negotiating the fencing like a super Mario character I managed to get on a large dog. After that I spotted my old friend and it dutifully dodged me! One day buster, one day..... I can't believe how damp my clothes were from sweat last night! I used the last of the S&B HP SP WMR ammo and can honestly say I would buy more. I'm so tired zzzzz. U. With my old eyes I shoot to 100. With a good background it could be used to 150 easy. It spots to a few hundred eyes wise. My spotting torch is from the torch factory, the evo50. It spots in excess of 400 yds. On the tightest spot can spook them a touch but just off that they seem more tolerant to it. U. Quote Link to post
