Underdog 2,337
This is what makes me grin the most! Yes I will be out tonight looking for fox's but a charcoal burner session brings the biggest grins U. 9 Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
Nice looking gun, but in honestly I have little to no knowledge of those things! Is that old, as the style would suggest or modern, seems in remarkable condition. 1 Quote Link to post
Rimfireboy! 1,463
Good “stuff” Nathan. What load are you using? 1 Quote Link to post

It makes a good wing shooter with shot too . Quote Link to post

I cut a 410 case down for a powder measure as the full power load and most accurate ball load is a bit much for squirrel. It's about 25grn. Then a lubed felt wad cut from an old hat and then a thin patched .440". It's not the most accurate with that load but ok close up, to be honest shot at these distance is better! The full power ball load is minute of rabbit head to 40+ yards (from a smooth bore)! It's also very good with two balls. U. 1 Quote Link to post
Underdog 2,337
Switched to shot this evening. Smooth bore muzzleloaders are so versatile. In the picture you see my own made shot bag, flask and a tin of lube, wads and ball. U. 4 2 Quote Link to post
