???  BIKES ???

there were the start of 4 small nests out on the inside of the wooden shed in the garden but they must have killed each other because none of them came to anything. Wife got stung 3 times on hands weeding out in garden. I found that in the base of a shrub and took that out. The wife took the dog out for a walk and it encountered a nest. The waspsc were trying to burrow into its fur to sting it !  The mrs beat the wasps out of the fur without geting stung luckily. I took that one out for the dog. Some years ago I was stung on the head and ever since I have a bad reaction to getting stung, so now I take great pleasure in finding and destroying any nest that exists. Now that might sound a bit barmy and I'd do better keping well away from them but I've perfected the art and one year I  destroyed 14 nests. They dont stand a chance. There was a hornets nest down in the wood the other year but I didnt get involved with that one although I should have done because they destroyed an established bees nest up in the fork of a big ash tree. One year we had six nests in the house one of which was like a big limpet mine in a deadspace cupboard. Our bedroom was full of them. There was no way to get access to the nest and something had to be done so I took this one by drilling a 1/16 hole through the plasterboard and injecting a syringe of unleaded direct into the heart of the nest through this small hole. Next day no wasps. I'd  rather go wasp nest hunting than night shooting.  Personal risk yes but it gives me a Buzz. I just think take that you Bards. Die.

never had much to do with wasps and their nests, but I remember  a good friend of mine was hand trimming a hedge and some bushes with a hand sycle, poor bugger hit a hornets nest, stung to hell with bstards, had a very bad reaction to the many stings he got, what made it worse for him,it was very open country and nobody around so no escape, in apretty bad state when help arrived.

??? Bikes ???  Why the hell do you call them bikes? A bike can be a motor bike or a push bike but a wasp nest is a wasp nest. Thats about the same as saying can you give me my custard when you mean can you give me my chainsaw ! Was the person that decided to call them bike permanently drunk?

Hornets are difficult and go into protect attack mode. A woman who lives down the road and her three dogs encountered one down in the wood she said it was terrifying and both her and the dogs had to be taken to the vet's and doctor for treatment. I should have destroyed the blooming horde when I had the chance.
