Ive tried a lot of different type's and the ones i find most accurate and consistant is the Air Arms Field and Target.. and they are capable of stopping anything they hit in the head.. ..

Millet

i shoot the same gun and millet is bang on these pellets are great ive shot rats at 10m and popped a bunnie at 63m with these pellets i have a mate who does F T and these are the pellets he uses dont waste your money like most of us do and give a tin a try...

If you can find them,,,JSB Exact do a very good job. Similar shape to AA but a little harder so not as many damaged skirts.

Try,,www.airammo.co.uk

i was talking to my gun shop owner about the JSB pellets and he was telling me there the people that make the castings for the AA fields and that they are the same as a AA field but with a slightly larger head, being a 5.5 insted of the AA being a 5.35. i put a few across the micrometer and guess what? he seems correct.

I find the JSB a very good pellet and stop what they hit

I know this is about a S410 Carbine in .177 but my .22 Falcon has always performed brilliantly with AA Field in 5.51 and Bisley Magnum; H&N FTT has been another good one...but whichever way you look at it domed pellets will tend to be the most consistent and are most commonly used for "hunting".

Of course ALL barrels are different ...even in exactly similar guns, and breech loading systems can also have an effect on pellet choice.

Power of the gun has to be considered as well.

These JSB sound interesting that mole catcher etc are talking about..must be about the only pellet I have not tried!

Cheers
