Deker 3,478
Some 50 years ago I went Shark fishing out of Paignton, Devon with my Dad, 2 were caught on the boat, don't ask what they were (but they were not Basking Sharks) I was very young, and one was about 6-8' I remember. Back then it was all a thrill and exciting, and one of my best memories was when they were strung up at the harbour when we got back, what a crowd they attracted, I seem to recall their skin was smooth as silk in one direction but felt like sandpaper in the opposite direction. So, nothing new in a few sharks round our coast!
robertb123 372
Can't understand why we don't have more great white sightings in our waters, the waters not too cold and there's plenty of seals, where's the marine equivalent of Greyman?
