Hi,..can't locate any first cross images at the moment,...but these Collie infused youngsters are fairly typical of lurchers that are a mix of Whippet, greyhound, and herder. Banjo Jak

Well that's fair enough I only help out my mate who's the keeper it's all young woodland wi small rides cut through and some mature no open ground so shooting is the only effective way tbf I'm not into it even on beaters day I let most of them flap over me unhindered much to everyone s disgust

Well not being funny the crows he should of had his fence done properly you see it many times wi the lekky fence lifted over the pop hole best run it straight through even a mouse can't get in wi out a belt but you live and learn ay on another shoot a cub had literally lived in the pen for weeks  had a mink get in once that was a b*****d lucky it found a fen box I can say wi out doubt tho where I am it's winged fecker s that are the 1

Morning, taken a step back from quad bikes and hounds - Don’t need the grief anymore. Having moved house my country has changed, curious of those that do hunt the hills with their lurches and a terrier at your heel, how do you bring them on? Getting the right dog for the job is no brainier but what about the training? Thanks.

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect
