Happy New year Ted, and to your family. Atb j heads up fella going into the frozen swamp/bush in the late morning looking for pigs. its not really the weather as its going to be -3c and the buggers will be moving around, normally its minus death and the pigs tend to huddle together for warmth. thankfully a farmer has ploughed out a track(he was collecting bales off the field) so we can get close enough with the truck. was thinking of taking the ecaller and throwing out a pig call or whatever i have on it as a trial to see if we can call any in,tried this once it didnt work. the piece of swamp/bush is probably 3kms long and at its narrow part 200m,visibility is anything from 100yds down to actually couple of feet of thick bush, this is when it get scarey lol roe sack packed as i aint dragging no pig out of the swamp rifle is a VZ58 in 7.62x39 open sites with 3x10rd pistol mags (lesson learnt take all of them in with you) there is mobile service ish down there so you might get live updates as we go thru there. shame i didnt have a GoPro as you would get a better idea of whats its actually like going thru. hopefully, we also find some pigs beds, now they are cool to see. later 1
