Born Hunter 17,751
Do you find the whole trail cam aspect of your hunting adds to or removes from the experience mate? It seems to be one of the big difference on your side of the pond from ours. I get that for you guys it's probably more beneficial than it is for us but I guess I mean do you enjoy it or does knowing what's out there sort of take away a bit of the anticipation/wonder of hunting? I've played about with them but not properly got 'into' them.

I've played about with them but not properly got 'into' them. i know exactly what you mean. i objected to using one when i first got here,i have five cams now.its always exciting to check the cams and waiting to see whats coming into the baits. it doesnt matter what you have on the cam doesnt mean you are going be able to shoot it. in the next province of manitoba, you cannot lay down bait for animals.someone is trying to get that implemented here in saskabush, that will be disastrous or will it???
Ted Newgent 4,896
Butcher called the smoked sausage is ready. So i went to bait the spots on my way. got to the barrel, dropped oats in. Now the camera has frozen snow all over it i was struggling to get it open THEN i heard grunting behind me holy f**k 8 pigs came in off the swamp heading straight to me. Got the card out and legged it back to the truck no fckn rifle
