Mate bought one off Facebook same thing as you

And the cuut he got it off reported it stolen from his shed.... mate had it took off him a year later

That’s a cuuts trick, I made sure I got the invoice and bill of sale off this little fella, because he looked the type to do something like that ☹️

ive googled the Orange and they all come up 3k to 800 sterling ,,,so wayyyy out of my budget lol

Push bikes to fat blokes are the same as gym membership for fat chicks, they both think that by owning them they will loose weight, there are loads out there collecting dust mate just waiting for you to track them down, as I said I bought mine for £150 hardly used, also ended up plastering a few rooms in fat blokes house for £800 when he saw the sign writing on the van I went to collect the bike in, just keep scanning the second hand sites, also bought the brand new folding Ferrari for £150 last year, time of the year makes It a bit difficult to bag bargains on bikes, but winter is when to strike,

have a look here... bikes on this site are generally really good second hand buys at good money!

a good cross country bike with hard pack Tyers would be my choice.. you can lock the suspension travel out on most shocks so your not wasting your energy on the tarmac.

the orange, has a small shocker in the neck of the handlebars that takes the edge off any big bumps or jumps i,m likeley to do,i,m not a massive fan of suspension for mainly road use also prefer the look of a hardtail bike

2nd hand bikes are cheap as chips, I've got 2k in my Marin, and that was 10 years back, probably worth £300 and it's in good condition.

Mainly use my cheapo hack bike for excercising the dogs unless I'm doing a proper off road ride.

Cheers, D.

Is he a cyclocross competitor?

Really like the look of the gravel grinder/cyclocross bikes I bought a cheap road bike from a charity shop for £30 was going to try it ? then realised the bike was a cheap heavy turd and scrapped it an put the brake calipers on the old Barry Hoban one .

I'm not sure you but I do know he's in a wheelchair now. I've seen a video of him strapped onto an electric bike since his accident too.
