DwayneMoton 0
First of all, know the type of rat before using any trap. Quote Link to post

There is almost exclusively only one rat in the UK, the Norwegian or Brown rat, Black rats are very rare and only found in some coastal areas to the best of my knowledge, I've never come across one in many years of doing this? 2 Quote Link to post

Torquemada 288
The Black Rat was put on the critically endangered red list in the UK. Quite why the conservation people would do this is beyond me because it's a bloody animal we could do without. 2 Quote Link to post
DigDeepIRL 17
Even here in ireland in all my time in the country i dont think ive ever seen a black rat!Not saying there not here its just brown seems to be the boys! Quote Link to post
EDDIE B 3,166
You would wonder how any rat species would struggle to thrive. Maybe their bigger brown cousins has something to do with that Quote Link to post

Reckon it must have been ants? I like the Snap E Traps, if these were properly boxed then I'd be confident rats didn't eat the bait. The outer boxes funnel the rat to the killing zone and VERY FEW get away! Quote Link to post
