One of my old dogs would disagree with you there mate lol. Even though he could've easily caught me hundreds of rabbits, if one got up he showed hardly any enthusiasm at all! Missed, or rather, didn't even really try, on countless rabbits! Hares and deer were a different matter altogether. He'd try his guts out, didn't matter what his chances of catching them were. I could tell what was in front if us before I'd even put the lamp on, depending on his behaviour. Had some great times with the old f****r Quote Link to post

Somewhereyournot 1,117
If I was looking at one.. I'd try get collie grey x whippet grey or whippet collie x greyhound.. That way I think you'd get better chance of a bit bigger dog and make it easier to tackle Charles... Not to say some big dogs are gutless and some small ones gutsy as f**k mind. 1 Quote Link to post
Chunky11 150
I had a bitch like this & she was brilliant on the lamp & ferretting & would pick up the odd hare but was never entered on fox. 24 tts & about 20 kilos. I would definitely have another. Quote Link to post
