Guest Yorkshire Aboriginal
Hello every one, just a few lines to introduce my-self. I've been a lifelong ferriting & lurcher enthusiast, from ratting as a small boy, to present day rabbiting, although have'nt been too involved for the past five years or so, due to heavy work commitments. I seemed to loose my way in life, however, I'm back into the scene in a big way, dusted off my old wax coat & purse nets, my old lurcher bitch thought all her birthdays had come at once, & was more than happy to pick up where we left off,( the lurcher, or long dog, depending on your point of veiw, who is a first cross greyhound / whippet, has'nt lost her touch has been gainfully employed rabbiting, with a couple of local lads who would come & collect her whenever they had a trip planned). My five year old lad is loving, living of the land, from ferriting for rabbits to collecting wild mushrooms, we have also been collecting snails & feeding them on wild garlic leaves ready for the pot, he just can't get enough. Looking forwards to expanding my pack, probably with the addition of a lurcher pup next spring. New ferriting permision has'nt been too forthcoming, but fingers crossed. Looking forward to taking part in some of the forums & making a few new mates.
