LuckOrJudgement 437
Anyone got any recommendations for PL insurance. I'm just a one man rural pest controller. The premium has now crept above the £200 mark and I'm wondering if this is standard? Quote Link to post
DIDO.1 22,845
Sounds expensive. I'll check with my Mrs how much we pay Quote Link to post

CO CHISE 330
Simply business. Public liability up to 5m for pest and vermin control. I paid just less than £150 1 Quote Link to post
DIDO.1 22,845
We are with Swinton, can't find the paperwork and the Mrs is away so I'm not allowed in office to check price. She says ours it has crept up this last year and it was about £200 just for me. We have now added her and subcontractors so it a bit more again. Quote Link to post
Devon Minnow 152
I've been looking for public liability insurance to cover me for mole trapping only. The policies all seem to come in one bundle covering you for all aspects of pest control, quotes between £200 - 240. However found one that just covers mole trapping for £117 by Will Fountain insurance 3 Quote Link to post
Rowan 308
Clivertons , definately. i have public liability and personel accident cover with them. Plus it covers use of firearms, a must have. You pays your money , you take your choice. Quote Link to post
Phil Lloyd 10,738
As a Mole trapper and Wasp Nest destroyer,...Bill Fountain does me just reet... Quote Link to post
3175darren 1,101
If you are only doing it in a small way as in up to £2,000 earnings you are covered by BASC / BDS it’s when you go over that as most do, Quote Link to post
Rowan 308
Basc do not cover you for any paid shooting you may do , only recreational. Apart from that , why not.. Quote Link to post
3175darren 1,101
Sorry I thought BASC did, however BDS do, classsed as pest control, I rang them to confirm it, Quote Link to post
