Guest bunnybasher
a mate of mine has got a couple of pellets called promethus non toxic, they look just like very small rimmy bullets in .177 an .22 . Has any you chaps use these and if so [bANNED TEXT] do you think. Quote Link to post
Guest pete evans
these pellets can be fine but they are quite expensive for little or no advantage over a decent quality lead pellet. they will probably get a little further through the yellow pages than a lead pellet but thats about it pete Quote Link to post
Guest whippet
Utter shit, they're inaccurate in pretty much all guns. There's absolutely no advantage, theoretical or real, over normal pellets. They've got a novelty factor I'll admit, but when you fire them you can actually see them spiralling down range. These are like 8 inch spirals, they're expensive too. Just find a nice accurate lead pellet that works and stick to it. Quote Link to post

ChrisJones 7,975
Are they the plastic skirted ones? Watch for shavings fouling the rifle. Quote Link to post
Guest Hunter Gatherer
rubbish! they work well in new rifles for a while but then they pack in after even slight fouling. Also i dont know who worked out that they penetrate well because they are lighter than the led pellets and apsolutley do not! Gimmicky crap! HG Quote Link to post
