firthy 54
Plenty of YouTube videos showing ya mate. But pretty much leave in water helps draw out all the blood over night. Obviously skin the head and cut off as much flesh as you can. Boil the head slowly making sure the antler isn’t in the water and keep an eye on it n you’ll see once the flesh coming off. Then spoon knife screwdriver wire that sort of thing to pick off all the s meg and Shit n brains. N then jet wash but be careful not to viceroys around the Basel cavity 1 1 Quote Link to post

ginger beard 4,652
I just boil them up for 10 minutes then power wash them (car wash). Flesh just falls off and leaves the skull nice and white. Quote Link to post
Born Hunter 17,751
There's the skin, flesh, boil method as already said. Orrrrrr this time of year rather than boil you can leave it in a bucket of water (up to the correnets) and after about 5 weeks the flesh with have putrified and just slip off. Had good results with this, really gets the ligaments and tendons off well. Ffs don't bury it, imo it's a shite method compared to either of the above that makes the bone brittle. Then leave it in the shed for 5 years as it will stink to high heaven .Done that method ,won't be doing it again lol. Quote Link to post

Lol, yeah it does but if you can put it out the way it's no bother. Bet all you need to do was shake the skull and it was clean? Quote Link to post
Yokel Matt 918
I left a boars head in a feed sack at the bottom of the garden for 6 months... that was pretty damn putrid and yes the flesh fell off with just a shake 1 Quote Link to post
