Bit quiet my way but I expect this will pick up all of a sudden.

Up here wasps seem to be on the decline. Only find 3 or 4 nests a summer when im mouching about

Did our first wasp nest beginning of last week and done around 12 so far up here in West Yorkshire

I've done 5 this past week, all very active, hoping things are better than last year as it was very quiet in Cumbria.

Not looking good for this year done first two nests yesterday, must be very hard on the lads out there that try and make a living during the summer out of wasps.

I don't consider people who concentrate solely on wasps to be proper pest controllers. There was one firm local to me that aren't trading anymore who used to send blokes out with white trainers on and estate cars but would blanket the area with advertising and soak up and suck up all of the money that true pasties need.

What about folk like me, who have spent their working lifetime treating all sorts of Pests, from Fleas to Foxes,..and who now choose to specialize in treating wasps nests throughout the warm Summer months...and Moles and Rabbits during the Winter time,....are we not to be considered, genuine Pesters
