Minkenry 1,044
So I've started a new video series where I will show exactly how I raise and train my mink. This is the first in the series, what do you guys think? 1 1 Quote Link to post
Maximus Ferret 2,063
I really enjoyed that vid mate. Mink are regarded as a pest here as they aren't native and they kill gamebirds, chickens etc. and they impact a bit on salmon and trout, especially on the spawning beds. People trap them but in spite of that I see them regularly. I like mustelids myself and I'm happy to see the pine martin back in this area now though I'm sure not many hunting people would agree with me on that. Quote Link to post

Atb I will be keeping back a few for big pest control jobs where I need a bunch of mink, and I managed to find local working homes for all but two of the rest. Those two ended up being shipped out of state to people wanting to try their hands at hunting and fishing with a mink. I did my best to find local homes so I could still use them for breeding if they turned out to be good hunters. I'm hoping to continue and improve my hunting line of mink, and the more options I have to choose from, the better results I will get. 3 1 Quote Link to post
