Busher100 739
If they were the best at that you would see them on the fens not saluki X's If they were the best dog for teeth lads doing good numbers of them wouldn't have bull and wheaten X's I think they are a good allrounder that will do most jobs but not b the best or specialise in any one qaurry 1 Quote Link to post
Dean 4546 66
This is my 14 week old, deer hound/ greyhound/ collie. Bought from a chap in huddersfield, who runs this cross but it looks like he has a lot of collie in him but both sire & dam, have no white in them at all & they both look very deer houndish but this pup has thrown the collie look. 1 Quote Link to post

shaaark 10,729
Well, I don't know about any first cross type being the best at any one thing. But I have to say, the first cross deer/greys I have seen, have been better general alround lamp dogs, taking good numbers of a variety of quarry, than any other first cross. I'll duck out now ☺ 1 1 Quote Link to post

During the late 1980s, we put the first cross Deerhound/Greyhounds back to sheepdog blooded lurchers,..they were smashing dogs,..far more versatile than the F1... 13 Quote Link to post
