rabbit price

been talking to a old friend who had been at melton Mowbray market last winter.he saw rabbits at £4 a couple & pheasants at £1 a brace.he pointed out thats 8 pheasants for price of 2 rabbits if you would of said that in the 80s people would think you've gone mad.

£1:50 a rabbit here, local butcher sells them for £6:50?used to get £80/100 for roe, used to keep the hares for hawk food. Can't give the game birds away..... Use them for the ferrets and baiting my live catch traps.
