St James Park Lake

Right opposite the Palace...…..  I was in London for the day yesterday and happened to see a Common the size of a Submarine close to the bank of this lake, never even thought about it before but is fishing allowed here or other lakes like the Serpentine etc?

Anyone know, and anyone know what else may be in them?

I don't know if you can fish  St. James Park, but you can fish most Royal Parks with the relevant permit.

We did a job beside the Serpentine a few years back and I saw a bloke pulling out eel after eel. Some were fairly decent size.

You can get a permit to fish Hampton court and bushy.

Richmond park lake, had a fish called the royal forty, used to get caught in the first few days of the season opening

You aren't allowed to fish Diana Fountain in Bushy any more, That holds some really big carp.

 Even without the fountain theres a lot of fish in the park.
