chrismdd 787
Hi guys, what recommendations for a reasonably priced rangefinder to use with my 12ftlb air rifle. Any good offers around at the moment? Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
A few to look at here some of the cheap ones are just as good as the Hawke ones . I paid £39.99 and it is still going strong . I have always had Hawke ones but after 15 months both packed up https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=hunting+laser+range+finder&tag=mh0a9-21&index=aps&hvadid=80607977936574&hvqmt=b&hvbmt=bb&hvdev=c&ref=pd_sl_63j9kidjgx_b https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=range+finder 1 Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
This is the one I had for £40 but now £80 some good reviews on it https://www.amazon.co.uk/Suaoki-Professional-Handheld-Rangefinder-Protector/dp/B01CTPPKEE/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1527103865&sr=8-7&keywords=hunting+laser+range+finder 1 Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Portable-Golf-Rangefinder-Digital-Tour-Buddy-Scope-GPS-Range-Finder-as07/253060704353?hash=item3aeb97e861:g:5fwAAOSwdc5ZdWfn This looks to good to be true so probably is, but for £11 it may well be worth a punt! 1 Quote Link to post
Jonjon79 13,358
I've been using a range finder that a mate gave me 4yrs ago when I came back to air rifles - I've no idea what make it is, the only markings are 'JSR' in white letters, I guess it could have come from Ramsbottoms. It's been absolutely faultless and only needed 1 new battery in the time I've had it. I did once read that golf range finders are pretty much the same but, cheeper because, anything to do with shooting can have a premium whacked on. ...... I've never needed to look into it myself but, it might be worth investigating 1 Quote Link to post
philpot 5,014
I have had one of these for the past 4 years with no issues but only shows metres so if you want yards, it may not suit. Nice bit of kit and to be honest with Hawke, you are paying for the name, they they all made in China and possibly in the same factory as often happens with plenty of other products so why pay a lot of money when there are plenty of decent ones around. I paid £68 on ebay for the Vision King and think I spent well. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Visionking-Laser-Range-Finder-Hunting/dp/B00HT5H1HO/ref=sr_1_25?ie=UTF8&qid=1527148000&sr=8-25&keywords=hunting+laser+range+finder Phil 3 Quote Link to post

philpot 5,014
As good as any Mitch and not a lot of money for a decent rangefinder. I forgot to mention that I have a 100mt builders tape which I cross checked the Vision King with to make sure it was okay, it was spot on with that odd 1mt +/- tolerance. Phil 1 Quote Link to post
chrismdd 787
Thanks for all the replies. I've had a look around and may get the following after seeing a few reviews including one on youtube. Anyone got one of these or again are they basically the same kit in a different case? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Eyoyo-Waterproof-Multifunction-RangeFinder-Camouflage/dp/B01MTOVK77/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1527362474&sr=8-4&keywords=range+finder Quote Link to post

I only paid £30 for it so not worth spending £10+ to send it back Some of the cheap ones are hit and miss 1 Quote Link to post
