bigmac 97kt 13,791 Posted May 21, 2018 Report Share Posted May 21, 2018 FIRST OFF LADS I TAKE EVERY THING BACK I SAY,D ABOUT SFS this old 77 is one of the nicest rifles iv ever had the pleasure to shoot no noise from the cocking action what so ever and i MEAN what so ever just the slightest of click at the end when she locks into place . Jon iv had some nice rifles off you mate but this old girl takes some beating . the stock will be stripped this afternoon mate and im going silver on her(NOT THE ACTION LADS LOL) IM GOING TO DO THE SAME AS JON.S TX200 i saw a hw97kt fitted with all the brass even a brass cocking aid like a tx200 so im going to sort them in the next few weeks and a bis adjustable butt pad iv got some thing special in mind for the stock Jon Thanks mate your a top man and a good friend just wish i lived closer i owe you a night out and thanks for the years supply of bubble wrap atvbjimmy 5 Quote Link to post

I`ve just lost out on a HW80 It was a mk1, pristine condition and .177, he decided to keep it longer and I nearly got it for £200, - his asking price. Ah well. Its going walnut that much i do know jon but im thinking of making some nice Tiger stripes on her as well or i may follow the pattern of the grain in the butt end of the stock all the way through the for end if i can do it then it will be finished with tru oil about ten or 15 coats atvbjimmy Quote Link to post
