Swallows

There was a few in the hound kennels 3 weeks back. And I see one building a nest in my kennels the last few days

Not as many have a nest every year not using yet even less sandmartins

There are less this year I follow the swifts quite closely as they nest in my roof and reports all along there migration route say that less than normal have arrived this year swollows and martins seem the same, hope it's just a natural low I feel quite sorry for the odd swift that's made it, I normally have dozens whizzing round the house two or three so far this year

We have them nesting every year in the workshop, normally around 15 to 20 pair, only seen about 8 or 10 birds so far, but there’s still time

Seen less swallows and martins than last year but seen a few swifts which is unusual..

There a month late here in my village and only seen one pair of swifts and starlings have nicked their roof nesting site next door to me..

Seen three here just yesterday

but iv not seen them hear for years at one time there was hundreds whizzing around hear

i just sat back and watched them and i hope its a good sign that there coming back

it was like watching a dog fight between three fighter planes lol

i enjoyed watching them .

Saw one in Bucks Friday , and this evening nearby saw one swift, might have been more, too busy not listening to some bint saying I should stick to the footpath

I've got the swallows back in my barn that come every year, one is sitting tight on eggs.

Not seen no where near the amount of swifts we usually get though.

Was in Cambridge yesterday and saw first swifts of the year......always the last to return but my favourites out of swallows, martins etc ....
