Seems a bit bonkers burying soil - you'll just end up with a pile of soil from the hole that you've just dug!

scothunter 12,609
Was in greenhouse today potting seedlings for my hanging baskets. Got some chilies on the go and sorted my strawberry plants. I do like a nice garden with a bit colour in the summer. Sowed daisy's sweet Williams coming on good. Even bought a new solar lighthouse other day. It's pretty bright too. Other week I found a cracking piece of driftwood on the shore. It's in the front garden where I put an artificial bonsai tree in it. Looks good. Planted a pear tree few weeks ago. Tbh not sure if it's going to take. Just a cheap £5 job so no great loss if it does die. Wish more folk took a pride in Thier garden. A lot round here think there garden is a toilet for there dogs.

Tbh I didn't buy it for the fruit . when it gets bigger I going to use it to hang my feeders off. Cats are taking the birds off the fence.

Blackbriar 8,569
Potatoes, strawberries, courgettes, peas, broad, French and runner beans, 6 tomato varieties, various chilli's & bell peppers, cucumber and butternut squash..........a cherry tree and an apple tree. As well as a shed, summerhouse, gazebo and (thanks to the good Lady) enough solar lights to put Blackpool prom to shame !
