hi there bought some rimfire bullets to day.there are hyper velocity hollow points .22 at only £2.10 per box(50)ive been buying cci high velocity bullets for £4.25 per box(50) is there much diffrence between the two apart from the price. thanks for your help.

Are these the Yellow Jacket 33g Copper Plated HP?

 

If they are ...first off they are a good price..I pay £6.50 per 100 for these.

 

They are around 1500ft sec and 165ft lb at the muzzle, I use them a lot in my CZ Silhouette, I like them, they work well, group quite well, and they cycle well!

 

I also Use CCI Velocitors, 40g Copper Plated HP as well, 1435ft sec, 185ft lb, they arrive with a bigger thump, but grouping is not as good and they do not cycle so well in my CZ, but I still use them.

not sure if there copper coated there remington .22 yellow jacket hp 33 grains-bullet style truncoated cone hollow point.1500fps at muzzle-1075fps at 100yds.energy 165ft-1b at muzzle''85ft at 100yd.they drop 1.2'' at 100yds. thats what it said on the box.

i use the the cci velocitors they seem spot on .just thought i would try these seem a lot cheaper

Like I say, they work better in my Silhouette than velocitors but I still use both. Don't like the muck Remington seem to put all over them and the boxes are crap compared to CCI but I do like them. I also like that price you are paying...that is a VERY good deal! What gun are you using them in?

cz 452 .22 varmint havent had chance to use the yellow jackets yet will let you know how i come on mate

shoot about 20 or so rounds off today .grouping was fine with the yellow jackets .well impressed bargain £2.20 per box

The yellow jackets are a nice round, but like all hi-vel are just too bloody noisy for me.

 

Nonetheless, a good rabbiting cartridge.
